THE ROLES OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSETS IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL INNOVATION AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP - AN INTEGRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW
Resumo
Social Innovation (SI) and Social Entrepreneurship (SE) have been gaining space in academic production, as they are perceived as new paradigms to achieve social integration and a sustainable future. However, a gap has been found in the literature on the use of IPR in the context of SI and SE. The objective of this article is to analyze the different roles attributed, by recent scientific research, to Intellectual Property (IP) in the context of SI and ES. Accordingly, a systematic integrative literature review was carried out, aided by Start software, and analyzed using the content analysis technique. As a result, it was found that IP's roles in the context of SI and ES go beyond the function of appropriability of innovation.
